Trauma

Trauma in people refers to the psychological and emotional response that individuals may experience when they are exposed to distressing events. Trauma can have a profound impact on a person's mental and emotional well-being and can manifest in various ways. It's important to understand that trauma is a subjective experience, and what may be traumatic for one person may not be traumatic for another.

Types of Trauma:
Physical Trauma: Resulting from accidents, injuries, or medical procedures.
Emotional Trauma: Stemming from distressing life events, such as the loss of a loved one, relationship problems, or witnessing violence.
Psychological Trauma: Caused by events that threaten a person's psychological well-being, such as abuse.
Developmental Trauma: Occurring during childhood and affecting emotional and psychological development. Examples include childhood abuse or neglect.
