Abuse refers to the mistreatment or harm inflicted upon an individual, typically by another person or a group of people. Abuse can take various forms and can have significant physical, emotional, psychological, and social consequences for the victim. It is important to recognize and address abuse, as it can have long-lasting and detrimental effects on a person's well-being.

Abuse can be physical, sexual, financial, emotional and psychological. Abuse in childhood can include neglect, child sexual abuse, physical and emotional mistreatment of a child and can be devastating to the individual.
Cyberbullying involves the use of technology, such as social media or messaging apps to harass, threaten, or intimidate others. An increasing number of people are experiencing abuse online.
